“Temu jail”: missing offers are not a diagnosis
Shoppers use “Temu jail” for the experience of no longer seeing reward events while other accounts still receive them. It is an informal label. Temu does not publicly document the C0/C1/C2 risk tiers or Exceptional Reward Budget described in the older version of this guide; we could not verify the claimed former employee's account.
Separate four possible situations
An expired round, account-specific eligibility, a reward-status error and an explicit account restriction can all look like missing offers. Record what the screen actually says. “Activity expired” establishes that this route no longer opens; it does not establish a three-month ban or a permanent exclusion.
A friend using the same network may have different campaign access. That comparison helps show the symptom, but it does not reveal the selection algorithm. Returns followed by missing offers are a sequence of events, not proof that the return caused every later restriction.
What can you check?
Save the last working campaign's rules, order date, any cancellation or adjustment, and the first error. Ask support whether there is a specific restriction and what appeal or correction process applies. For a completed purchase with a missing reward, identify the unmet task or status rather than treating it as a general shopping ban.
Recovery claims we removed
We have no verified basis for promising that ten reviews, spending half your balance, a subscription, a fresh device or three months of waiting restores promotions. Do not buy unwanted goods or write reviews as payment for uncertain eligibility. If you review a product, describe what you actually received.
Returns and issued credit
Read the round's reward adjustment rules, but keep your right to return unsuitable or defective goods. No evidence here supports the old instruction to never return promotional purchases. Temu's credit help says issued credit does not expire, so an idle balance is not a reason to shop urgently.
Is this an affiliate shadowban?
Missing consumer offers and missing affiliate attribution concern different systems. Neither informal name proves a hidden sanction. Diagnose campaign eligibility separately from referral links, reporting and conversion conditions.
