# Is Temu credit worth it? Work out the cost of both purchases

A Temu credit offer is worth comparing when you plan to use the reward on goods you wanted at competitive prices. Count both baskets, fees and any cash top-ups. If a credit-funded order earns another reward under your rules, include that extra round in the calculation.

```
remaining_spend = remaining_target / (rate_percent / 100)
```

## One purchase and a later credit-funded purchase

Suppose you pay 60 for an order and receive 15 in usable credit. If your next planned order costs 30, you pay another 15 after applying the credit. You have paid 75 for goods listed at 90: a 16.7% reduction across both baskets, before shipping and fees. The “25% back” headline describes 15 divided by the first 60, not the combined shopping discount.

If you would not have bought the second basket, the credit has not saved you cash you otherwise planned to spend. Compare the usefulness and price of both baskets, not just the reward.

## The Czech 5,400 Kč offer

On 7 October 2026, Jakub reported paying **7,200 Kč entirely with existing Temu credit** and receiving **5,400 Kč in credit**. That round used no new cash and reduced his credit by **1,800 Kč**. He has the offer again, but has not reported a second completed payout. We attribute the outcome to his firsthand account; the 30 September screenshot shows the original offer, not the completed wallet transaction. The exact campaign keyword remains unknown, so we cannot identify this round as WinCredit.

## Calculate the final gap separately

Divide the remaining target by the rate for the next eligible order. A gap of 75 at 1% needs 7,500 in qualifying purchases unless a bonus or another task changes it. A nearly full progress bar can still require substantial spending.

## Issued credit is different from a deadline

Temu's official help says issued Temu Credit does not expire and cannot convert to cash. A campaign's tasks, claim period and coupons can expire. Check which balance the screen describes before assuming the value is lost.

## Include fees, returns and time

Count delivery and import fees in your cost even if they do not count toward a promotion. Check how a return changes the reward; do not assume an automatic ban. Set a time budget for games and referrals. An illustrative 12 reward for three hours is 4 per hour, but no universal game payout or completion time is established here.

The useful comparison is cash you would otherwise spend on equivalent wanted goods, minus the cash you actually spend across the whole reward cycle.

## Repeating the 7,200 / 5,400 credit round

The reported return equals **75%** of the 7,200 Kč purchase; the net credit use equals **25%**. If another round has the same threshold, the returned 5,400 Kč leaves a 1,800 Kč gap. Cover that gap with other credit or new cash before calling it another cash-free purchase. This arithmetic does not establish an unlimited free-goods loop or prove that Temu’s prices beat another shop’s.
